India is a diverse country. From language to culture to food habits, attires and dresses, and even environmental conditions. It is also though truly said about India that it represents unity in diversity as well. To become a national symbol of such a diverse country is not easy. The symbol has to unify the ethos of the north to south and east to west.
Some of the well-known symbols are:
Nationa animal - Royal Bengal Tiger National bird - Peacock National Fruit - Mango National Flower - Lotus However, we have other symbols as well which are lesser-known.
